BUDGET SESSION ENDS, RAJYA SABHA DIDN’T PASS GST

The budget session has ended in the cabinet but is very sad, that the landmark goods and services tax bill has not passed. This was the main bill which had to pass at any cost. Why? Because it is pending for a very long time now. Prime Minister Narendre Modi is not feeling good at all about this and he said that it was very important and it should have been passed during this session.

Indian politics news today is that PM Narendre Modi lamented the rajya sabha during its last session, for not approving the biggest bill. Referring to the GST Bill pm said that Bihar and Uttar Pradesh would have got profits from it to a great level, also many other states of the country. In total, leaving only a few all states of the country would have received many kinds of benefits from it, if it would have passed. Lok Sabha has already approved this bill long ago but it is now pending from Rajya Sabha’s end.

Looking at the present scenario, PM said that now they will have to 4-5 months which is very dreadful. He also addressed to the 53 MPs who got retired recently and bid a farewell to them. Indian politics news today is that Prime Minister Narendre Modi expressed his obligation and gratefulness to these 53 retiring MPs and said that these people have seen two governments in their entire 60 years of tenure here. He said that the both the governments benefited from their knowledge and experience. This government, BJP benefited less, the previous one Congress benefited more.
